The first winter storm of the season continues to impact Kansas City.Sleet turned to snow in the early hours of Monday morning. Road crews across the area are monitoring conditions, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol tweeted that from midnight through 10 a.m. they responded to 54 non-injury crashes, four with injuries and thankfully zero fatalities.Light to moderate rounds of snow, and resulting slick spots, are possible throughout the day before things transition back to patchy freezing drizzle Monday night. The metro area may see between 1-2 inches of snow Monday, with less snow and more of a mix falling south of the metro.
