Florida: Relaxing on vacations offers a much-needed reprieve from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Vacations provide everyone a chance to unwind and rejuvenate both mind and body. People go to vacations to take a much-needed break from their regular lives.

It is supposed to be a time that rejuvenates you and keeps all the stress at bay. This Florida couple seemed to have had a good time on vacation, sure but what they came home to was horrific.

Couple gets huge phone bill

The couple was in for a nightmare when they returned from a vacation from Switzerland, only to find out that they had received a humongous phone bill. The phone bill that the couple got after their vacation was a whopping Rs 1.2 crore. Yes, that is true and we are not kidding!

The couple was taken aback by the amount of their phone bill. This was especially since they had previously traveled to Switzerland without having to face any such charges. The man recalled visiting the mobile phone provider in person to discuss their travels, but unfortunately, the company failed to halt the roaming charges on data, thus prompting such a huge bill amount.

According to media reports, the couple took numerous photos during their vacation and shared them with friends and family abroad, ultimately resulting in a bill amounting to thousands of dollars, which they received from T-Mobile upon returning to Florida. Initially, the couple believed that the bill amount was Rs 12,000 and not Rs 1.2 crore.

9.5 GB data used

Reports also said that the man used about 9.5 GB of data while he was on a holiday and while that might not look like a large amount, mixed with roaming charges, it exploded for the couple. The couple has now hired a lawyer to deal with the case. However, the phone company is yet to respond to their lawyer’s letter.
