Revolution forward Ignatius Ganago has been called up by the Cameroon men’s national team for a pair of June friendlies.
Cameroon will face Uganda on June 6 and Equatorial Guinea three days later. Both games will be played in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Ganago has been capped 15 times, most recently as a substitute in a World Cup qualifier against Eswatini in March.
The Revolution acquired the 26-year-old in January on a loan with an option to purchase from French Ligue 1 club Nantes. Ganago has started all 13 regular-season games for the Revolution and has a goal and three assists.
He set up the opening goal in Saturday’s 3-3 tie at Sporting Kansas City when he crossed a pass for Tomás Chancalay in the 14th minute. Ganago also had a goal disallowed in the second half for offsides.
