The U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force are looking for a murder suspect.
Detreka Thomas, 26, has a warrant for his arrest in Greenwood.
In April 2024, Greenwood police contacted the United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and requested assistance in locating and apprehending Thomas. He is accused in the shooting death of Accardo Willis on April 1, 2024, in Greenwood.
U.S. marshals say Thomas also frequents the Memphis, Tennessee, area.
Thomas is listed as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds.
Law enforcement says Thomas is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach him.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering up to a $1,500 reward for information that leads to Thomas’ arrest. All tips are anonymous.
