Man caught smuggling 25 iPhones to Zhuhai

A man from Hong Kong was caught carrying 25 iPhone devices across the Gongbei border gate to enter Zhuhai, according to a report by Jornal Va Kio. The smuggler had wrapped all of the smartphones around his waist. As the suspect was clearing the border gate, the Gongbei customs’ facial recognition system sounded an alarm. The Gongbei customs later confirmed that it had been the third time in a single day that the suspect crossed over to Zhuhai. The man had behaved calmly, as instructed by the customs officers, but his bulky torso looked suspicious and drew their attention. The smartphones consisted of iPhone models X and 8.
