The African Development Bank is pleased to host the 2024 African Development Bank Transport Forum (ATF2024) on 18-19 September at the Sofitel Hôtel in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Under the theme Africa on the Move—Accelerating Sustainable Transport and Logistics Connectivity, ATF2024 will convene policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to advance critical sector reforms and innovative solutions. Ministers of transport and infrastructure, representatives of road, port and airport authorities and heads of international organisations are also expected to attend.

The forum will address such critical topics as, enabling greater private sector participation, de-risking policies, integrated and smart infrastructure solutions, and innovative financing mechanisms. Discussions will also cover road safety, multimodality, and urban mobility challenges.

ATF2024 will also showcase the African Development Bank's key transport initiatives, including the Regional Corridors Initiative, Sustainable Road Maintenance Program for Africa, Green Mobility Facility for Africa, and the Alliance for Green Infrastructure in Africa.
